My first encounter with gelatine: chocolate panna cotta for Ben as a farewell treat for him to discover in the fridge. It is his absolute favourite thing ever.

Goodbye scones
I went all round town today with a wicker basket on my arm filled with pots of jam and plates of scones to give people as I prepare to leave this weekend.

I promised my brother I’d make him some Peshwari Naan. It wasn’t a complete success, but it tasted alright and he seemed to wolf it down quite happily…
