Starting to feel like summer

‘Beth’s Kitchen Cafe’ in Bridgton, Maine is arguably one of my favourite cafes in the whole world and is definitely one of the highlights of being back. Last weekend, my wonderful great-aunt and cousin took a crazy 5 hour road trip from Connecticut to Maine to visit me at camp and take me out to lunch at Beth’s.

Back in this magical, magical place. This is where I found out my mum was sick, where I found out I got into Oxford… I basically grew up here. And I’m so so so happy to be back!!!

I’ve spent the last three days doing lifeguard training at an all-boys sports camp in New Hampshire. I’m so, so glad to be out of their freezing lake, but the views were pretty nice…
