Jolly lunch and jolly trousers
Back to my old ways of frequenting the Thursday formal dinners in college.
Sometimes there’s so much stuff going on that we forget how important it is to just live. Today I am thinking about people who have lost loved ones before they should, and about people who are struggling to cope with the pressures of Oxford. This golden dog has made me think about life, and how sometimes it’s good to just live it.
It’s taken me nearly four hours to finish reading this paper on Postcolonial thought and the Commonwealth. Nearly a whole year since I’ve written an essay . . . f r u s t r a t i o n! But thank goodness for fabulous friends and the Natural Bread Company’s wonderful coffee, for giving me strength!

Thank goodness we had such a fab catchup on Monday, because we were feeling it a bit the following morning and Nuala and I had a much more subdued (though splendidly sunny!) brunch. Thank you for showing me the Southampton nightlife teehee
