JFK glumness
Thank you so much to all the fab people who made my trip so utterly great 💕 (I’m sat at JFK and feeling glum.) I sometimes find it easy to lose sight of my mother in my day to day life at home – being here, surrounded by her roots, brings her back just a bit. Thank you, USA, for the most wonderful adventure! Carpe diem!!!
and thank you to Hannah Gottlieb-Graham for this pic, of me dancing in the street in Brooklyn last week ✨

Take me to church
yesterday I went on a wonderful road trip with my great-aunt. we drank a bunch of iced coffee and climbed to the top of the tallest hill, where I discovered one of the most incredible places I have ever been.
it was only about half way through the tour that I realised I’d written quite a lot about Frederic Church, the man who built this house, in my final paper last term. Whoops. A fascinating man, but evidently less so in the last week of the school year.

Doctor T.J eckleburg?
do you see the eyes?
I always fluctuate between being inspired and intimidated by this city (but who doesn’t?)
